The second day of December is here and with that comes our second little cubby of pieces to build from the 2014 LEGO City Advent Calendar. Yesterday, we built a small boy with a pair of letters (plus an extra unexplained hair piece). Today, we get to build a mailbox for the child to put those letters to Santa in!
The mailbox is a nice, festive red color and comes complete with a decoration on top plus a small cheese slope to represent a snow pile at the base. In addition, we get a green frog (which seems out of place in a frozen land such as LEGO City but what do I know)?
Today's build also comes with a pair of extra pieces - one gold 1x1 round piece and an extra white cheese slope. The sloped piece will definitely be useful for further winter scenes!
