Technically, I missed posting the third day of the LEGO City Advent Calendar on the actual 3rd of December...but only by a few minutes (my time anyhow). If you are west of the eastern seaboard of the US, then I happened to make the deadline!
No matter where you are, you probably want to see what day 3 had in store. Today's cubby revealed a small plastic bag with only five pieces.
After a quick build, you get a snowman (of sorts)!
As you can tell from the photo, the snowman has a half dome base plus a modified 1x1 brick with a single brown "stick" running through the middle of it. The snowman's head is a plain white head piece which is adorned with a black rimmed top hat.
Today's bag was also the first bag to NOT have any extra pieces though you now have a use for that second hair piece that came in day one's package...who doesn't want a hairy snowman?
