We are about to enter the final third of the 2024 LEGO City Advent Calendar. Thus far, it's been a mixed bag with plenty of nice builds paired with way too many days with little (or nothing) to build at all. Let's hope the middle third of the calendar finishes strong and leads us into a great final eight days. First though, our usual spoiler-free image for the day.
Happily, I have nothing but good news to share regarding today's build. More specifically, we have an actual thing to build today - a cute little snowmobile.
I like the overall look of this snowmobile, and it's nice to get another pair of snowshoes (even though skis would probably work better in reality for a snowmobile). I like the blue color scheme as well - and the blue helmet is a nice addition to round out the build. In fact, the one thing LEGO has been generous within this year's calendar is extra helmets for the minifigures:
Safety first! In the end, both my son and I were happy to see a return to buildable things out of the calendar. My son thought the snowmobile looked a little weird but he still said he liked it a lot. That's good enough for me to give this one a 5 out 5.
