Long-time readers will probably remember that I am trying to collect all of the various LEGO Collectible Minifigure sets. I didn't start collecting the sets until around the time Series 5 was released. Unfortunately, at the time, I wasn't planning to collect every set, and so I neglected the first four series for years. Now, many years later, I'm trying to go back and fill in the gaps - and with that comes a lot of searching in order to find a needed minifigure for a reasonable price.
Every now and then, I find one that I need at a decent cost. That's exactly what happened with a recent eBay search that netted me the Ringmaster from Series 2:
This isn't the most exciting minifigure out there (heck, he doesn't even have back printing), but it was one of the last seven minifigures that I needed from Series 2! With the Ringmaster now in hand, I'm down to needing only six more before I'll be able to close the door on Series 2:

Out of the remaining minifigures, I obviously would love to complete the full set, but if I can't, I certainly still want to track down the Pharaoh and the Spartan, two wonderful historical minifigs. I guess it's back to eBay soon!
Good luck tracking down the final six. I just looked up the surfer minifig. That one is pretty cool (pretty simple though). I'm guessing the Pharaoh and Spartan are much more detailed and exciting.
