We are nearing the end of this year's LEGO City Advent Calendar. Will this year top the previous few years in terms of a total score? At the rate we are going, there's a chance this could go down as the best Advent Calendar since I started scoring them!
Day 19:
Day 19 brings a snowman, which is fairly common for an Advent Calendar. Typically, this would struggle to garner a score higher than a 2, but LEGO knows how to appeal to nostalgia. Look at that tricorn Pirate hat on the snowman, that instantly brings me back to the early 90s and some of my LEGO sets as a kid. Good job, LEGO. You got me to give a basic snowman a 4 out of 5 score on nostalgia alone!
