REVIEW: Funwhole - Police Patrol Car - #F9043

Today, I'm reviewing a set that I bought my son for his birthday this past weekend!  The Funwhole/Lumibricks Police Patrol Car set, #F9043.

Note:  If you decide to give Lumibricks a try, please consider using my affiliate link.  This particular set was purchased by me and built by my son.  This is not a sponsored post; all thoughts and opinions are mine (and my son's)!

This is a small Funwhole/Lumibricks set with only 372 pieces and a single minifigure.  However, the set does feature eight lights and several printed pieces, plus some interesting play features.  How does it all come together, and is it worth the suggested retail price of $36.99 USD?  Read on to find out!

My (now eight-year-old !?!) son flew through the entire build by himself, including all of the wiring.  Admittedly, he's had a lot of years of LEGO building experience, but even so, I was impressed by how quickly and accurately he built the car.

Lumibricks is known for its value in its sets, and I'd say that the Police Patrol Car is another excellent deal.  The lights make everything better, but even without the lights, a similarly-sized LEGO set with a similar piece count would probably be at least $40 USD.  The Lumibrick set comes in under that, and it includes lots of lights and printed parts (no stickers at all)!  Even better, if you use my referral link, you can save some money, and I can get a few bonus points for future purchases (and reviews)!

I won't lie, this set was fun to drive around in the dark!  My son and I had a blast playing with it for a few minutes before his bedtime (see below for some photos of the car in the dark).  The lights are lovely, other than the red of the tail lights sort of "bleeding through" the backend build a bit.

This is a wonderful toy car.  I don't know that the vehicle would fit (in terms of scale) into a regular brick-built city layout, but for a car to whoosh around (especially in the dark), it's excellent.  Since this was a birthday present for my son, the best part was how much he loved the set (he gave it five stars)!

As I said already, the Police Patrol Car was a birthday present for my son.  But, don't worry, I've got some new Lumibricks set on order for myself as well!  I hope to continue to do my reviews (you can find more brick-related goodies over on my Instagram).
