Somehow, we are rapidly approaching the end of the first full week of December. The holiday season sure does seem to fly by faster and faster every single year! Let's see what Day 5 brought us in our LEGO Advent Calendar (but not before our spoiler-free image, of course)!
Day 5 brought us a hockey goal and a pearl gold trophy. After four solid days of builds, today's mini model is the first that wasn't a 5/5 for me.
In fact, the goal is super boring, especially since we only have one hockey player to play a game with! I will say that the inclusion of the gold trophy saves today's build from a bottom-of-the-barrel rating but it's still not great: 2/5 for today.
Not hard to score when there's no goalie (or perhaps an alternative caption could be Trophies for Everyone)!
Overall score this year: 22/25 thus far.
Nice trophy. At least on the filler days, Lego is providing accessories like that.
ReplyDeleteThe trophy saved this one from being a total dud. To be fair to LEGO though, my son loved the inclusion of the goal as a build because then he could make the hockey player "play."
