We are officially beginning the second half of our LEGO City Advent Calendar today! It's hard to believe how quickly time flies in December (and how slowly time seems to crawl in both January and February). No time to worry about the months ahead, we've got a window to open right now!
Day 13:
Day 13 brings us our fourth minifigure of the Advent Calendar (but only our second adult figure).
When my son opened today's door, he was immediately "meh" about the figure, he told me it deserved a 2.5 since it was perfectly average and he didn't feel any way about it. I, on the other hand, love this figure! That classic space logo in the ugly Christmas sweater pixel style is wonderful - and since it's me who gets to make the final decision on the grade for each day's build, I'm overruling my son and giving this one a 5/5!
I'll also point out that the accessory for today's build is a cute little space alien "Squishmellow." This is the same model that was used for one of the Collectible Minifigures back in Series 27.
What's great here is that LEGO gave us another new print, and of the three LEGO Squishmellows that I now own, the alien is my clear favorite.
