For Day 7, we get our second minifigure of the calendar but more importantly, we get the answer as to what yesterday's build was supposed to be.
That's right, today we got an ice sculptor who clearly goes with yesterday's ice sculpture build.
I worry a little bit about our sculptor's safety in that she's holding a chainsaw blade with no proper handle but otherwise this is a nice looking minifigure. I think the torso works well for a winter scene and the head design works well as either safety glasses or even ski goggles in a different context. Overall, I'd say that this was a perfectly solid minifigure with a pair of accessories. Probably just good enough for a 4/5 score today.

This definitely makes Day 6's build way more meaningful. That pairing looks fantastic.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, I think the minifigure should have come first to make sense of the previous day's build. Maybe LEGO was going for a bit of mystery with the order they chose?
